When was shotcrete invented?
It was actually back in the early 1900’s that Shotcrete was first invented. Carl Akeley was a taxidermist, and needed to fill the models of animals he preserved. So he came up with propelling dry cement through a nozzle, with water added just at the end. It was then refined and found to be an effective way to repair buildings.
